How do we reserve All Star DJ's?

  • A $200 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date. The retainer must be made with a credit or debit card
    number. We accept all major cards, electronic checks or Paypal.


Can we come out in person and see you perform?

  • We extend our privacy policy to all our clients.  We will not bring any uninvited guests to an event. The client
    management system allows us to tailor our service to your needs. We are happy to consult with you to discuss your needs,
    ideas and any concerns.  


Have you had experience at my event site?

  • Our DJ staff has experienced most of the event sites in  Marquette County and all surrounding areas. We are extremely
    versatile and can adapt to any setting. Our team has evaluated and has notes of most venues to ensure a smooth event.


Can we bring some of our own music for you to play?

  • Absolutely.  When your DJ contacts you prior to your scheduled performance they will recommend what is best for you to
    do in getting the music to them.  Please be sure to label your CDs and pick them up at the end of your scheduled
    performance so there is no confusion.


What if we want additional time?

  • Not a problem, as long as it’s okay with the facility manager. Just let your DJ know before the scheduled end of the
    evening if you want to extend your dance time.  Additional charges will apply as described in your Contract.


What kind of music do you carry?

  • We provide various types of music in order to please a diverse audience. All Star DJ's are able to play music from
    country, polka's, waltz's, swing/big band, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, right up through today's hottest hits.


Do you take requests?

  • Yes we do. You can specify specific requests on your Wedding Reception Planning Worksheet, and/or allow your guests
    to make requests during your event.


What if we want a song that is not on your list?

  • We are happy to locate additional songs for you.  We welcome you to bring some of your own favorite music.  Bottom
    line, we will do what it takes to make you happy.


How much music can we play in an evening?

  • In a typical evening, an average of 50-60 songs are played.  Depending on traditions and activities selected.


Do you provide ceremony services?

  • We provide many ceremonies both on and off-site. We are able to provide the actual prelude and ceremony music,
    microphones, as well as amplification for live vocalists or musicians. Ceremony coverage is an additional $150.00 to
    $250.00.  Please call our office for an exact price quote.


What music do you typically play for the social hour?

  • The planning forms and music listening center allows our clients to determine what they want to hear. Generally most
    clients enjoy an up beat jazz style music.


Do you charge extra for setup and tear down time?

  • Set up and tear down is included. Set up begins one hour before start time, which is all we need to be ready. If set up
    needs to be sooner, please advise our office.
